Ultrasound bearing analyser

Using an ultrasound analyser is an effective way to detect a premature bearing failure. If untreated, this can lead to excessive loading and ultimately to bearing fatigue failure. Vibration analysis – a powerful and impressive technology – can check for cavitation on centrifugal pumps. We have a wide selection of ultrasound measuring instruments for numerous processes.

Thermal imaging camera

An early indication of component failure on a pump is an increase in temperature. By using enhanced focus, our cameras are able to pinpoint any issues. This is a non-evasive process and so can be done in any situation, during normal operational hours, where images can be transferred using WiFi or Bluetooth, if required. We also offer laser alignment and ultrasonic flow measurement.

Our thermal imaging equipment offers:

Laser alignment

Get the most out of your pumps with our laser alignments

We strongly advise that with long coupled pumps they should be checked for alignment regularly. At a minimum once a year dependent on usage. Pumps out of the required tolerances will cause a disproportional load on the coupling, bearing, pump and motor. If not treated and managed this will cause fatigue and early failure of the component parts.    Regular pump maintenance is recommended, and will prove considerably cheaper in the long run than paying for repairs, should the equipment eventually fail.

Ultrasonic flow Measurement

Non-invasive flow measurement

Non evasive flow testing is a means of accurately testing the flow from a pump without breaking into the pipework. This is handled by securing test clamps to the pipework. The flow can be determined and read on a hand held portable Bluetooth device. All results are kept on the device, to be sent to the customers on request.
